Concierge Auctions To Target High-Net-Worth Chinese Buyers For Fifth Sale In Partnership With Media Powerhouses The Wall Street Journal And Mansion Global

Luxury auction firm now accepting sellers of global properties as part of its carefully curated collection in March

Feb 1, 2019

NEW YORK, Feb. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Concierge Auctions is now accepting sellers for its March Sale — its fifth to-date designed to target high-net-worth Chinese real estate buyers — with additional reach to greater Asia, the Middle East, and Europe in partnership with media powerhouses The Wall Street Journal and Mansion Global. Featuring a carefully curated selection of premier properties from around the world, bidding will be held digitally from March 22nd to March 28th via the Concierge Auctions online marketplace, conciergeauctions.com, which allows prospective buyers to participate in real-time from anywhere in the world.

The Sale will kick off with a series of custom launch events in Shenzhen and Singapore on March 5th and 7th, hosted in partnership with The Wall Street Journal and Mansion Global, with additional outreach to high-net-worth Chinese clientele within the Dow Jones China network.

"We continue to see increased interest and activity from our collections in China and for the first time are expanding our efforts to Singapore, which is becoming a powerhouse investor in the US real estate market," states Concierge Auctions Chief Marketing Officer Krystal Aeby. "Now entering into our fifth Sale in partnership with The Wall Street Journal and Mansion Global, our continued success signifies that our platform is helping 'bridge the gap' by introducing even more real estate offerings to buyers seeking to invest in global real estate."

In conjunction with its proven platform of global marketing, advertising and sales, Concierge Auctions will conduct targeted outreach to members of its high-net-worth database of approximately 550,000 buyers and agents worldwide. Properties in the Sale will receive additional exposure via a multi-language advertising campaign — including geo-targeted digital advertising in Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East — with translated landing pages and property listings on the Chinese edition of Mansion Global, and promotion across the publication's WeChat and Weibo social channels. Translated property listings will also appear on Juwai.com, the largest and most authoritative source for global property in Chinese.

Ideal properties for the Sale include diverse offerings located in well-known destinations with ultra-luxury price points, with proximity to top-notch schools and easy access to China via direct flights; are solid investments for future generations; and are valued at a price in comparison to Chinese real estate. Additionally, the properties that offer financial security, a possibility for rental income, visas that benefit Chinese tourists, investors and migrants and feature characteristics that adhere to Feng Shui and numerology guidelines (a propensity for the numbers 6, 8 and 9) are also a plus. All properties in the sale will be available for preview for prior to the auction.

"Our continued partnership with Concierge Auctions has been an exciting experience for our global audience," states Luke Bahrenburg, Vice President, Real Estate & Consumer at Dow Jones. "Not only do our clientele have the opportunity to learn about the unique auction process as an alternative method of selling real estate, but they also have the opportunity to purchase some of the world's finest properties through the platform. We hope to continue our partnership with Concierge Auctions and further expand into this market."

The firm's prior sales have resulted in more than 130 bidders from 8 countries — including China, Hong Kong, Russia, France, England, Ireland, Canada, Cyprus, and the Bahamas — and over $140 million in transactions. As part of Concierge Auctions' Key for Key® giving program in partnership with Giveback Homes, each property sold will result in a new home built for a family in need.
