Waterfront Properties And Chinese Buyer Interest Dominate At Concierge Auctions' $60 Million Summer Sale
Luxury real estate auction firm places properties in six U.S. states and four international countries under contract in one day via its mobile bidding application

NEW YORK, July 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Concierge Auctions pulled in a solid $59.7 million in high bids during last week's 50-buyer-deep global auction. After receiving massive exposure around the world, with added outreach to China in cooperation with Mansion Global and The Wall Street Journal, standout interest was seen for oceanfront estates in tony Vero Beach, Florida and idyllic Los Cabos, Mexico; a Texas lakefront mansion owned by Dallas billionaire John Goff; and a Georgian estate on 4.5 acres in Greenwich, Connecticut.
The auction commenced during an event at The Upper House in Hong Kong, China on June 28th. Bids were then accepted worldwide via the firm's mobile bidding application.
"The Wall Street Journal and Mansion Global were delighted to partner with Concierge Auctions on this exciting initiative. The power of our collective brands alongside an innovative marketing campaign enabled us to reach a targeted audience of Chinese buyers primed to purchase luxury property. We look forward to building upon the success of this partnership in the future," said Luke Bahrenburg, Vice President of Real Estate for Dow Jones, publisher of The Wall Street Journal and Mansion Global.
By virtue of the quality merchandise that Concierge Auctions represents, properties rich in lifestyle typically dominate its inventory. This sale was no exception. "The standouts were all things waterfront — lake, ocean, bay and river," stated the firms' president, Laura Brady.
"The international reach was incredible," stated Kyle Crews, listing agent for the Champ d'Or estate near Dallas, Texas. "We had buyers from around the world touring the property as a result of Concierge Auctions' extensive print and digital marketing."
"I love working with Concierge Auctions! We've had several auctions with them and they always deliver," said Cindy O'Dare, one of the listing agents for the estates in Vero Beach. "We had several bidders participate in the sale and the sellers were happy with the results. Concierge Auctions has the best marketing I've ever seen! I highly recommend them."
The success of this sale also means 14 homes will be built for families in need through Concierge Auctions' Key for Key™ giving program — an initiative through which the firm is donating a home for every property it sells this year.
"Key for Key™ makes each transaction extra-rewarding, as we are not only accomplishing our firm's economic goals but also our mission to better the world," added Brady.
